Can you increase the area for the Description – the three lines visible are barely enough to describe the features and / or limitations of components, particularly Dynamic components …

Can we also have a filter to choose between Metric of Imperial base units preferences in searchs… again this particularly applies to dynamic components but useful when selecting any component that has to relate to a metric or imperial world

Quality Prop Models
Hi everyone. I hope someone doesn’t mind me asking where I might be able to find quality prop models for a lifestyle product image. Example below. (unfinished)
The problem I’m having is finding convincing prop models that make it hard to differentiate between the real thing. They don’t have to be free either. So, does anyone know of a good source for this type of thing?
Much appreciated in advance if you know of some decent sources.

3D-Warehouse component warning
Occasionally, when I download a component from the 3D Warehouse, I receive a notification that the component was created in a newer version of SketchUp and may not display correctly. Oddly enough, I have the latest version of SketchUp, also my PC is up to date. However, the component seems to work perfectly fine from my perspective. It’s still quite puzzling. Anyone else experiencing this? Greetings, Dion.

Failed Uploads
Has anyone noticed the massive number of failed uploads in the Warehouse? It began sometime yesterday afternoon (13 Feb) or evening. The conditions are the same in two different browsers with or without ad and 3rd party cookie blockers. It seemed to have begun following a period when the Warehouse was down.
The issue is most evident if simply looking for the latest uploads, no matter what type of model. In other words, clik the magnifying glass at the end of the search bar in the 3DWH, no search terms, and no filters other than “Date Modified” to bring up all the most recent uploads.
Some show “Something Doesn’t Look Right…”
Others show “Sprinkling Some Magic…”
Oddly, there was one user who seemed to have had luck in successfully uploading about 30-35 models. Otherwise…it’s hit and miss. Mostly miss.

Access to 3D Warehouse
Please tell me what gives Trimble the right to change the terms of the perpetual license agreement and discontinue access by the user (me) to 3D Warehouse. Some users don’t want or need to start a subscription program and forcing perpetual users to do so by cutting out 3D Warehouse access doesn’t appear as a right in the original license agreement and I don’t see anything giving Trimble the right to change it.

New 3D Warehouse Feature
So I’m not a big fan of the 3D warehouse update, where the models and products categories are now merged into one category. I preferred that it was separate, because I find the product category always has models that are very heavy/big files, and I automatically go to the models category where you’ll find models that are not as heavy.
what you you guys think?

Warehouse models created in a newer version message?
When I have downloaded models from the 3D warehouse, I get a message that they were created in a newer version of SketchUp and if I continue some information may be lost or displayed incorrectly, however, when I check for updates It says I am up to date.
I have 23.1.340 64bit
Any thoughts?

How can I use the 3D Warehouse in Sketchup Make 2017 without upgrading?
I have a functioning Sketchup Make 2017 on my Windows 10 Desktop. I used to use it for woodworking but have not for a few years. Now I want to use it for Floor Plans with 2D symbols that are included in the 3D Warehouse package but I cannot open the symbol files with the SU Make 2017. I just get the popup telling me that I must upgrade to access this data. Is there any work around?

3D Warehouse Model broken

3D Warehouse Scrolling/Loading Issue
Since the newer format of “Models and Products,” when I search for models in 3D Warehouse, I’m experiencing an issue when I reach the bottom of the search results and click “Load More”: additional options load, but it bounces me back up to the top of the FIRST results. Essentially, each time I select “Load More” it takes me to the first results and adds a new page-worth of models to the bottom, so I have to scroll through each earlier page, each time, to reach the new results. Anyone else having this issue?

3D Warehouse catalog feature: Bulk management tool issue
I am currently exploring the bulk uploading feature in 3D Warehouse for catalog management purposes for a special client project. My goal is to efficiently add and upload multiple 3D models with specific attributes extracted from a .csv file.
However, I have encountered a limitation in the platform’s bulk management tool. It appears that while it allows for the creation and management of attributes such as size, weight, and URL, those attributes generated using the Dynamic Attribute panel within SketchUp, including custom attributes defined by name and other specific information, are not supported in the bulk management process.
➜ To enhance the usability and flexibility of the bulk uploading feature, I would like to suggest the inclusion of a special attribute management system that supports Dynamic Attributes in future releases and updates of 3D Warehouse.
➜ Additionally, I am reaching out to the SketchUp community to inquire if anyone has encountered a workaround or alternative solution to address this issue. Your insights and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sketchup Pro 2024 User - Warehouse Download Limits
Hi there,
I am a sketchup pro user; I am trying to download assets for my firm to use. We have been doing a lot of redundant repair on existing models on the warehouse and I wanted to add light objects/high res textures to existing models. Unfortunately, while downloading I was hit with a download limit.
It was my understanding that pro users have unlimited access to the library, is this no longer the case?

Failed to Upload?
Going thru my models in the Warehouse today after noticing a new feature, I found that two of them have the error, “Failed to Upload. It appears that your model upload has failed. Please try uploading the model again.”
These models have been in the Warehouse since 2017 - unchanged/unedited. Oddly, they are by far the most liked and most downloaded of all my models. I have gotten email notices of people “liking” these models as recently as the 2nd of April and today, yet they cannot be viewed in the 3D Preview or downloaded in their current status.
I have noticed other models with this error in the past months - some, that just like mine, have been in the Warehouse for some time…but just figured the failed upload issue has apparently existed for years, and the owner never returned to find that they needed to re-upload their model. But now I wonder since running across two of my own that are suddenly, out of the clear blue, unavailable allegedly because of a failed upload.

3D Warehouse Help. Not Loading
For the past 2 days, when I open 3D Warehouse through SketchUp it just stays on the loading page. I’ve tried going through the web browser and this works fine, but it’s more tedious for my workload to have to download-file-import models. Today I loaded it once and got it to work for a good 30 minutes, now it’s back to just staying on the load page again.
I’m using SketchUp Pro 2022 version.
Any ideas of what to do to get it to work? Thanks in advance.

Download Legacy SketchUp Models Directly from 3D Warehouse
Hello,
In light of Trimble’s recent policy changes, which have ceased support for older versions of SketchUp, I’ve developed a Chrome extension that might help. Since “Save As” to earlier versions is not available in SketchUp 2024, and downloading older .skp versions from 3D Warehouse is no longer an option, this extension aims to fill that gap.
Extension lets you download legacy model versions directly from the 3D Warehouse website.
(The available versions for each model depend on the original upload time to 3D Warehouse?)

I’ve have a problem with the 3D Warehouse for some time now. When I enter a search term and scroll down and then click on “Load more”, the image jumps !
. Does anyone know the problem or know a solution?

I'm curious if there are any copyright(license) issues involved with this
Is it permissible to exhibit a model downloaded from the warehouse, printed with a 3D printer, for the purpose of conveying information at a permanent exhibition?
The exhibition is organized by a corporation, and we do not sell printed products.

3D Warehouse problems
Hi, something happened to my 3D warehouse because when I’m looking for a door, for example, he shows that he found 83000 examples but when I roll over and end up at the box Load More and press it, him opens everything again from the beginning, which I already looked at.

3D Warehouse - possible to bookmark entire supplier / collection?
I see that it’s possible to Favorite or Add To Collection, a specific model/item.
I don’t see a way to add an entire collection, or a manufacturer, to my favorites.
Am I missing something, or this is not a feature?

3D Warehouse - feature requests: favorite collections & manufacturers, add personal tags/notes, allow import without tags/layers
1.) I see that it’s possible to Favorite or Add to Collection, but only a specific model. However, there doesn’t seem to be a way to “bookmark” a collection or manufacturer/publisher. And there should be.
2.) Also, it would be incredibly convenient to add personal tags or notes to the models; these can be private by default, or shared publicly. Some models have specific quirks that are not immediately apparent - there’s no way to warn other users about them. Some models have very nice or specific features - there’s no way to “advertise” those to other users.
There’s an incredible amount of personal interaction and review going on, and it’s all getting lost because it’s all siloed.
If these personal tags/notes can be searchable, that would be even more amazing.
3.) Allow marking multiple models & importing them as a batch. Like “collect for import”.
